The 36th annual edition of MusicFest Canada will occur May 13-18, 2008 in Ottawa, Canada's Capital. During the week-long event full of music, learning and fun, MusicFest will inspire 10,000 young musicians aged 12-85 from across Canada.

Highlights include:

• Yamaha Symphonic Band from Japan to perform at the National Arts Centre
• Showcase performances at the National Arts Centre with the National Arts Centre Orchestra, Humber College Faculty Band, National Concert Band, and the Yamaha All Star Band
• Approximately $100,000 in scholarships and awards
• Daily workshops, clinics and master classes
